Here are a few additional directions to help you arrive safely
at The Stone-Yancey House in Liberty, Missouri.
From Kansas City International Airport:
As you leave the airport, take I-29 south toward Kansas City. After 4.5 miles, take exit
9A, MO Highway 152, towards
Liberty.
Continue on Highway 152 for approximately 12 miles to
Liberty.
Continue on Highway 152 (it will turn into Kansas St. after you enter
Liberty). Continue through several stop lights. After you pass
the Liberty Junior High School, the street narrows and
becomes a one-way street. Three blocks past the town square is
a stop sign at
Lightburne St.
Turn left onto
Lightburne St.
(be careful, Lightburne traffic does NOT stop). At the
top of the hill you will see a blinking yellow caution light.
The Stone-Yancey House is on your right, just before you reach
the caution light. There is a 30-mph speed limit sign in front
of the house. There are two driveways just past the house, turn
in the first drive and park at the back of the drive, marked
with the Guest Parking sign. Please come to the front door
and ring the twist bell.
From downtown
Kansas City: Take I-35 north
following the signs for
Des Moines.
Take exit 16, MO Highway 152, marked Liberty. Turn right at the
end of the exit ramp. Highway 152 will turn into Kansas St. as you enter
Liberty. Continue on
MO152/Kansas St.
through several stop lights. After you pass the Liberty Junior

From the north via I-35
(Des Moines,
Iowa): Take
exit 20 to US69. Turn left onto MO33/Lightburne St. You will pass the
Hallmark Distribution Center on your left. At the top of the
hill there is a blinking caution light. The Stone-Yancey House
is just past the caution light on your left. There are two
driveways just before the house, turn in the second drive and
park at the back of the drive, marked with the Guest Parking
sign. Please come to the front door and ring the twist bell.
From the south (Independence and Lees
Summit,
Missouri):
Take MO Highway 291 north to
Liberty.
At the “Y” intersection of MO291 and MO33, bear right onto
MO33. There is a Conoco gas station in the middle of the “Y”
intersection. Continue on MO33 through the stop light at
Mill St. At this point MO33 is also Lightburne St. At the top of the hill you will
see a blinking yellow caution light. The Stone-Yancey House is
on your right, just before you reach the caution light. There
is a 30-mph speed limit sign in front of the house. There are
two driveways just past the house, turn in the first drive and
park at the back of the drive, marked with the Guest Parking
sign. Please come to the front door and ring the twist bell.
